Giving little presents for people suffering from breast cancer is a great way to show our awareness and support for patient of cancer. Pink stuff such as shirt, jewelry, pin, towel and even blog templates are being offered for sale to celebrate this event.
Thousands of product were jazz up with pink ribbon as a symbol of breast cancer awareness. In some ways, the color pink is used to most brand to promote same cause. Using pink ribbons as a way to observe the event started in the latter part of 20th century. Since then it evolved to many products.
Around 1996, a stamp was created in US to promote breast cancer awareness. The design focused on pink ribbon.
In Canada, actual money was used to promote the said event. There are 30 million 25-cents coin that were molded with pink ribbon design. This is the second time in history of Canada wherein a colored coin is put into money circulation.
During October, people put together pink theme activities to raise fund for breast cancer care. Some events include wearing of pink shirt and pink jewelry.
